Tim Cunha
President
Tim Cunha is the President of Turnagain, bringing over two decades of experience in heavy civil and marine construction to lead the company. He previously held the role of Operations Manager and was later elevated to VP of Operations, overseeing all aspects of operations, personnel, and project management, including developing design-build projects, managing contracts, and ensuring that the company’s operations meet Turnagain’s high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.
With extensive expertise in operations, logistics, and technical coordination, Tim has built a distinguished career leading large-scale, multidisciplinary marine projects from concept through completion. His project portfolio includes some of Alaska’s most prominent marine infrastructure developments, such as the Ward Cove Cruise Dock, Icy Strait Point Berth II, and the Crescent Harbor Replacement in Sitka. Beyond his professional work, Tim enjoys camping, fishing, snow machining, and cross-country skiing with his wife and daughter.
Josh Zellmer, P.E., S.E.
VP of Engineering
Josh is the driving force behind TURNAGAIN ingenuity. With nearly 4 years at TURNAGAIN and a total of 15 years in the field, Josh's passion for innovation shines through as he works closely with the construction group to explore creative solutions for challenging projects. Outside of work, Josh is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying everything from downhill skiing to mountain biking and sailing.
Christopher Nielsen
VP of Construction
Chris Nielsen, VP of Construction at TURNAGAIN, brings over 8 years of diverse experience to the team, reflected in his involvement in nearly every project. His roles span from engineering development and review to material and equipment procurement, logistical management, financial oversight, and day-to-day field operations. When he's not revolutionizing the marine construction industry with TURNAGAIN, Chris enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, and spending quality time with his three kids.
